Join Sweet Home Inspections in Supporting Our Community
During the month of February, Sweet Home Inspections is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Harvesters Community Food Network. Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others.
The COVID-19 crisis has impacted food banks throughout Kansas and Missouri as more of our neighbors have lost income and jobs due to the pandemic. An estimated 1 in 7 people in our area are experiencing food insecurity, and about 1 in 5 children. Food insecurity disproportionately impacts our children and elderly - our most vulnurable populations.
I invite you to join with us in providing relief to those in our community who need us by bringing a food donation to your inspection during February. If you prefer, you can make a monetary donation instead to our virtual food drive. Food donations can also be dropped at our physical office. Please call ahead to get ensure someone is available to recieve your donation at (913) 894-5893. As a thank you, we are providing home inspection clients with a 120-day Complete Protection home warranty FREE of charge ($350 value.)
I hope you will join with us in this worthy cause.
